Our proposed goals

Canadian Hardwood Bureau 

Hardwoods have been losing market share to imitators and less sustainable options for decades. In 2021, the CHB formed a committee to discuss options for a promotional program for Canadian hardwoods. The goal of the program is to tell the story of Canadian hardwoods as beautiful, durable, and sustainable interior building materials to as many consumers as possible. We secured partial funding from the Federal government and the Ontario government. We thank our partners very much. The promotions program is directed at export and we chose our closest market in the USA. We felt we could maximize our resources by targeting US-based designers and architects, who will promote our story to home owners and commercial end users. We developed a webinar and presented it 12 times to designers and architects in the USA.
